Always on the fringes of public service and community service, Brian campaigned for Jerry Brown for President in 1976, 1980, and 1992. Working as an Information Systems Technician for CETEC Solutions, a division of the Charles E. Thomas Company of Gardena, California since 2003, Brian relocated to Olympia in 2006 to head up the company’s Western Washington operations. In 2010, he and his wife opened Autumnwood Child Care, a state licensed in-home family child care business. Since moving to the area he has been active in community service as an organizer and grassroots advocate, and in public service, campaigning for Patty Murray and Adam Smith in state government, and either fighting for or against senate and house bills, and initiatives on the ballot.
