Upon hearing news that the Lacey City Council invited Artspace USA to pitch their community-building model to the city, host Mathias Eichler ran around town to find the best fit for Artspace in Thurston County. The journey, however, begged the question: Would Lacey benefit most, with its need to establish community? Or would downtown Olympia be the best location for arts development, given its existing talent and economic needs?
